UXV Technologies is Established

What is now UXV Technologies, UAV Components, was created by Steven Friberg and Johan Nielsen, where the initial focus was to become suppliers of long range communication systems and components that improved the reliability of UAV systems. These systems were pioneering within the field due to them being UHF based and transmitted encrypted signals. These radios functioned as an inspiration to UXV Technologies’ current SRM Radios.

The Aeronav is Launched

UAV Components expanded its products portfolio to also cover ground control stations with the launch of the first Aeronav. This was the first military approved and certified ground control station by the company and led UAV Components to hold a new innovative place within the industry as a manufacturer of unmanned solutions.

Increased Collaboration with Defense Sector

In 2019, UAV Components began a pivotal collaboration with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and secured its first contracts with the US Government. This milestone marked the beginning of the company's continuous growth and set the stage for its future success.

One of the first significant outcomes of this partnership was the development of the pioneering Soldier Robotic Controller (SRoC) and SRM radios, two testaments to the company's ability to innovate. The Navigator Tab 3 Launched & Name Change

UAV Components was in 2020 renamed to UXV Technologies to mark a new beginning for the company, with the goal of creating more in-house products applicable for the various military missions.

This year also saw the launch of the revolutionary Navigator Tab 3, which integrated the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 into a Ground Control Station. This platform was hugely successful for UXV Technologies and stood out in the industry as a product offering precision, mobility, and versatility in operations.

A New Standard in GCS and Multiple Awards

In the beginning of 2023, UXV Technologies unveiled the SRoC series, a revolutionary multi-domain ground control station designed for unmanned systems and defense robotics. With its modular design and state-of-the-art features, the SRoC sets a new standard for mission flexibility and operational efficiency. Meanwhile the SRoC also was the first of its kind to seamlessly integrate into the new UXV Ecosystem being compatible with multiple of UXV Technologies’ many products and external products.

Meanwhile 2023 also saw UXV Technologies’ hard work being recognized. In 2023 UXV Technologies won AmChams Transatlantic Company of the Year award.

Growing Exponentially & Global Impact

2024 saw UXV Technologies grow exponentially. The company opened its US office in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, marking the start of production in the United States. At the same time, the SRoC Series expanded to include multiple new Ground Control Stations to meet the growing demand from the civil and public sectors. Additionally, the number of employees at UXV Technologies doubled.

2024 also marked the signing of an MOU between UXV Technologies and Samsung Electronics America, forming a strategic alliance that strengthened their collaboration and expanded their joint efforts in marketing, innovation, and the development of cutting-edge technologies.
