As we are saying goodbye to 2022 and entering a new year, we are reflecting on the year that has passed and the many significant news, events, and milestones – It certainly has been an exciting year.
New years is the time for reflection and planning. A year is coming to an end and another is beginning. This means new plans, new goals, and new achievements. We have had a great and busy 2022, and 2023 looks set to follow in the same footsteps.
“2022 has been a memorable year and we have reached many important milestones, our US subsidiary being a big one. I look forward to seeing what new opportunities and experiences next year will bring. I am so proud of what we have accomplished this year,” Says our CEO, Steven Friberg.
So with gratitude for this year and excitement for next year, let’s take a look at some of our biggest accomplishments this year.
2022 was the year we got our first Gazelle award. Every year the Danish newspaper Børsen hands out its Gazelle award to companies that have experienced extraordinary growth. We have grown a lot in a short time on many factors and this year so much that we qualified for the award and therefore could call ourselves Børsen Gazelle 2022.
“I am so proud of UXV for getting this award. Growing as a company can be a challenge and it is hard work. It is nice to be recognized for the work we do. The choices we make in the company are made on a strategic basis. This means that we usually don’t see the outcome of our choices until years later. So our growth this year is based on our work two years ago and it is nice to see that what we do pays off,” says our CEO Steven Friberg about the award.
But an award like this does not come easy. It takes hard work, dedication, and long days, which 2022 has been full of.
2022 was also the year we reached a huge milestone and opened our first US subsidiary.
After eight years based in Denmark, we could announce the opening of our second office, based in the US. The goal with our new US subsidiary is to get closer to existing and new customers and take our production to the next level. We are so proud of the work we have done to reach this milestone and we are looking forward to the future and to seeing where the new office will take us.
“We are truly excited to begin this new chapter in our journey. The establishment of our North American subsidiary comes as a natural result of increasing interest and orders from US stakeholders. We want to be close to our customers, and to show that we are committed and are here to stay,” Says our CEO, Steven. Friberg, about the new office opening.
2022 was also the year we could announce that we are joining the ecosystem at UAS Denmark Test Center in January 2023, and we are so excited about the new opportunities this opens for us.
“I consider the ecosystem at HCA Airport an epicenter for drone technology. For us, the test center equals great testing facilities and access to a cluster of competencies that can help us fulfill our ambitions of bringing the robotics technology into the defense- and security sector,” says our CEO Steven Friberg.
We are excited to see what the future brings at HCA Airport.
2022 was also the year Russia invaded Ukraine and the whole world was affected. In collaboration with among others Quantum Systems, we sent Vector drones to Ukraine to support and help direct the Ukrainian artillery. We are extremely proud of our work in Ukraine and to see our technologies as a part of Quantum systems solutions.
These are just some of the highlights from 2022. It truly has been a memorable year despite the current world situation. We thank our employees, customers, and partners for an amazing year. Our accomplishments would not have been possible without you. We look forward to seeing what 2023 brings.
