We are thrilled to share that UXV Technologies has been bestowed with the esteemed title of 2023 Transatlantic Company of the Year by AmCham Denmark.
This recognition stands as a testament to our remarkable growth, continuous innovation, and unwavering dedication to the U.S. market.
Our central focus has revolved around the U.S. market, and we take great pride in the establishment of our inaugural U.S. factory in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, in June 2023. The selection of this location was a meticulous process, driven by its skilled workforce and flourishing industrial ecosystem. Our factory is now fully operational, producing pivotal technologies such as ground control stations and sensors for unmanned systems spanning land, air, and maritime domains.
Our overarching mission is to become a trusted advisor and collaborator with the U.S. Department of Defense. We have recently inked a significant contract with the U.S. Army's Department of Defense Innovation Unit, making us the first Danish company to embark on a partnership with DIU.
UXV Technologies' DNA is infused with innovation, exemplified by our flagship product, Ground Control Systems (GCS). Additionally, our groundbreaking soldier-worn swappable radio module, a universally adaptable "one unit-one form factor" control system for a broad spectrum of Unmanned Vehicles (UXVs), bestows unmatched field flexibility and functionality.
At UXV Technologies, we accept this prestigious acknowledgment with profound gratitude and extend our heartfelt appreciation to AmCham Denmark and the jury for this exceptional accolade. It underscores our commitment to nurturing strong transatlantic relationships and fostering close alliances with our international associates.
The award was personally presented to our Co-founder and COO, Johan Strecker Nielsen, during AmCham Denmark's 2023 Business Awards Dinner, Copenhagen. The event was attended by prominent dignitaries, including U.S. Ambassador to Denmark Alan Leventhal and Minister of Business and Financial Affairs Morten Bødskov.
In the spirit of camaraderie, we also extend our warmest congratulations to this year's other distinguished finalists: COWI, FLSmidth, FOSS & ISS A/S, all of which are outstanding companies contributing to the fortification of Danish-American bonds.
