We are growing and looking for an IT-security and network specialist with strong professionalism who thrives in a position with great influence and can help take our security to the next level. 

As an IT-security and network specialist, your tasks will be to analyze and assess the business requirements and need for security measures. Through this, you will be in charge of operation, maintenance, and development of UXV’s IT systems, networks, etc. 

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance and servicing of IT infrastructure - hardware as well as software - including Windows servers, SAN and networks, VMware, Microsoft and Linux operating systems as well as backup and recovery and logging and SIEM solutions, etc.
• Building and maintaining our new VMware ESXi server platform.
• Administration and maintenance of users in AD, physical access control, and local systems.
• Organizational password management.

Are you the one we are looking for?

As the ideal candidate, you have a service-oriented profile with a great focus on network administration and system administration. You have a relevant IT-education, such as computer technician, computer scientist, IT technologist etc. combined with practical relevant experience from a larger IT department. 

We imagine that you:

• Have good technical understanding and insight into infrastructure and application structure.
• Can work independently and solution-oriented with your tasks.
• Can manage network-monitoring systems and logging.
• Have experience/knowledge of servers - VMware, Microsoft Server
• Have experience/knowledge of Networks - Switches and firewalls
• Have experience/knowledge of Backup & Restore.
• Have experience/knowledge of security and automation.
